Last week we had a long overdue visit with Aunt Emily! Unfortunately Uncle Kyle had to stay home and do important work-related things (blah) but we missed him all the same.
She got in lots of cuddle time (well, as much as he lets you cuddle anyway) with a precious little boy!

Books are a pretty big deal right now. Jake empties his bookshelf and goes to town. His current favorites are The Story of Noah, Touch & Feel Animals, and 10 Tiny Puppies. We read the story of Noah probably 5 times a day. At least this boy loves his Bible stories!(I promptly swatted that Kitty Kat book out of his hands...he knows better)

Lounging around
Rain rain go away! Jake also loves to look out the window. Probably wondering what in the world is on the other side.He'll find out in November when the temperature drops 20 degrees.
