Grandparents are Fun, Car Rides are Not!

Last weekend we drove up to Richardson to visit the boy's great-grandparents! We hadn't seen them in a shameful amount of time so the visit was much overdue.  I'm not going to say anything about the drive except DREW HATES THE CAR.  If he would just fall asleep instead of crying and throwing up on himself, it would be so much better for all parties involved.

So.

The boys had a great time once we got there, thank goodness!  Meemaw and Peepaw's house has stairs (big hit), a piano, some old toys, just to name a few so they kept themselves very busy.

Meemaw bought the boys some bubbles and they enjoyed blowing them on Saturday.

We also got to feed the ducks.  Drew would've been swimming with them if we would've let him.

Drew will now hold hands, except with me.  Ha.  He was so sweet pulling Daddy around the park.

Teaching the boys chopsticks.  I would LOVE for them to learn piano!  I've already recruited our next-door neighbor for lessons in a couple years. :)

Drew and Meemaw.

Pulling Meemaw to their motorhome.  Oh yes, this was a big attraction.

Jake could not have been any more excited.

"MOMMY!  It has an OVEN!  A FRIDGE!  A TV!  A MICROWAVE!"

Driving "to school". Thank goodness the keys were nowhere to be found!

Uncle Michael and Aunt Rachel also visited at the same time.  The boys loved it!  Jake may or may not have been bribed with a quarter to smile for the next couple of pictures...

Stop, you know you've done it too.

The best attempt at a group shot.

Thank you SO much for letting us come to visit!  We all had a great time and can't wait to see y'all again!

Does Drew get carsick? He is about the age Calyn was when we came to the realization of why she hated the car. They start really paying attention to the trees and other cars passing by and they get sick. It's just a thought.
